Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sasseweb.com and any website design and development services you purchase from Sasse Web, operated by Slade Sasse, a sole proprietor based in Gillette, Wyoming ("Sasse Web," "we," "us," "our"). By using this website, submitting an application, or paying a deposit, you ("you," "client") agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

Sasse Web designs and builds custom, conversion-focused websites for businesses. Our current packages, prices and deliverables are listed at sasseweb.com/#pricing. Projects outside those packages are quoted in writing before any payment.

2. Applications and acceptance

Submitting an application does not create a contract or guarantee that we'll accept your project. We review every application for fit and may decline any project. A project begins only when we confirm the scope in writing (email is fine) and receive your deposit.

3. Scope and deliverables

Your package defines what's included: page count, revision rounds and listed deliverables. Requests beyond that scope, such as extra pages, features, or revision rounds, will be quoted separately, and we'll start that work only after you approve it in writing.

•

Your site plan. At kickoff, we agree in writing on a site plan listing the pages your website will include. Launch includes up to 20 pages. Growth has no page limit (see "Unlimited pages" below). Pages are built during your build window, from that plan and from the information and materials you supply or approve at kickoff. Pages requested after the build window or after transfer are new work, quoted separately.

•

Copy. We write the conversion copy for every page in your site plan, using the information you give us about your business, services, locations and customers. Pages that share a structure (for example, one page per service area) are written from that shared structure and your specific details. Blog posts, articles and bulk content, such as product catalogs, listings or imported documents, are not included in our copywriting. We'll build those pages from content you supply.

•

Unlimited pages (Growth). "Unlimited" means we don't cap the number of pages in your agreed site plan. It covers pages of your marketing website, such as service, location, landing and information pages. It does not cover online stores or e-commerce, web apps, member portals, custom software, or bulk content writing. Hosting is not included. Framer's Basic plan allows up to 30 pages, so a site with more than 30 pages requires Framer's Pro plan or higher (including any page add-ons Framer requires), billed by Framer directly to you. If your site plan is too large to complete within the standard build window, we'll tell you before kickoff and agree on a launch date in writing.

•

CRM form integration (all packages). We connect your website's forms to one CRM you already use, where that CRM supports it through a native integration, a webhook or a connector service such as Zapier. For Jobber, this requires Jobber's Connect plan (or higher) and a Zapier account. If you're on Jobber's Core plan, we'll embed Jobber's own request form on your site instead. You provide the account access we need. Connector subscriptions (such as Zapier) and any CRM plan upgrades are yours and are billed to you by those providers. If your CRM can't receive form submissions by any of these methods, we'll send submissions to your email instead.

•

AI chat assistant (Growth). We set up an AI chat assistant on your website using Chatbase, in a Chatbase account you own. It's trained on your site content and the business information you approve, and we hand it over to you at transfer. Like hosting, the Chatbase subscription is yours and is billed by Chatbase directly to you. The plan we use is Chatbase's Hobby plan, currently about $40/month; Chatbase sets and may change its prices and usage limits. The assistant always identifies itself as an AI to your visitors. AI-generated answers can occasionally be inaccurate. You approve the information it's trained on and are responsible for monitoring it after transfer.

•

Maintenance (Growth, 3 months). Growth includes 3 months of maintenance at no extra cost, starting on the date we transfer your website. Months are counted from your transfer date. Maintenance covers up to 10 edit requests per month. An edit request is one change, or a batch of related changes to your existing pages or content, sent in a single message (for example, updating your hours everywhere they appear, or replacing the photos on one page). Edit requests cover text, image and content updates, fixes, and upkeep of your existing site. We complete each edit request within 2 business days of receiving it and any content we need from you. Maintenance does not include new pages, redesigns, new features or new builds, which we'll quote separately. Send requests to sales@sasseweb.com. During this period, you keep us invited as an editor on your Framer project. Unused edit requests don't carry over to the next month and can't be exchanged for credit or other work.

4. Timeline

Project timelines (for example, "3–5 business days" for Launch or "10 business days" for Growth) are counted in business days (Monday–Friday, excluding US federal holidays). They start the business day after we receive both your deposit and your completed intake. Stated timelines assume the site plan we agree at kickoff. If a larger site plan needs more time, we'll agree on the build window in writing before your build starts. Timelines pause while we're waiting on you for content, access, feedback or approvals. We aim to meet every stated timeline. If we're going to miss one for reasons on our side, we'll tell you promptly. A delay does not, by itself, change your refund rights under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

•

provide accurate information, content, logos, photos and access needed for your project;

•

respond to questions and review requests promptly, normally within 1 business day during your build;

•

have the right to use any materials you give us, and confirm that they do not infringe anyone else's rights;

•

ensure the claims on your website about your business (licenses, results, reviews, pricing) are true. We'll write copy based on what you tell us, and you approve it before transfer;

•

make sure your website's own privacy policy covers how you collect visitor information, including through your forms, CRM and, on Growth, the AI chat assistant.

6. Fees and payment

•

Deposit: 50% of the project price is due to begin.

•

Balance: the remaining 50% is due when your website is ready for transfer, before we transfer it.

•

Payments are made by invoice through Stripe, in US dollars. Prices don't include taxes, if any apply.

•

We do not transfer a website until it is paid in full.

7. Refunds and cancellation

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy (sasseweb.com/refund-policy) is part of these Terms. In short: full refund if you're not satisfied before transfer; no refunds after transfer.

8. Domain

If your package includes domain registration, we register the domain in your name for the first year (or connect a domain you already own). After the first year, renewals are your responsibility and are paid to the registrar.

9. Hosting and third-party services

Hosting is not included in our price. Websites we build are hosted on Framer, and hosting is billed by Framer directly to you under Framer's own terms. Sites with more than 30 pages require Framer's Pro plan or higher. Your website may also rely on other third-party services (for example, Chatbase for the AI chat assistant, Zapier or other CRM connectors, your CRM's own plan, form tools, analytics or email). Their fees are billed to you by the provider. We're not responsible for outages, price changes or policy changes by those providers.

10. Ownership and intellectual property

•

Upon transfer and full payment, you own the final website delivered to you, including the copy and design we created for it, subject to the licenses of any third-party fonts, images, components or software it uses.

•

Until full payment and transfer, all work (designs, copy, research and the Framer project) remains the property of Sasse Web.

•

We keep the right to reuse our general know-how, processes, layouts and non-client-specific techniques.

•

With your permission, we may show your website in our portfolio. You can say no at any time.

11. No guarantee of specific results

We build websites using research-based conversion practices, but we do not guarantee any specific number of leads, sales, rankings, traffic or revenue. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your market, offer, pricing, reviews and marketing.

12. After transfer

After transfer, you control the website and are responsible for its content, edits, hosting and compliance going forward, except for the maintenance included with Growth (section 3). Other work after transfer, if we agree to do it, will be quoted separately.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sasse Web's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sasse Web harmless from claims arising from materials you provided, claims made on your website at your direction, or your use of the website after transfer.

15. Use of sasseweb.com

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. Don't attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or submit false information through our forms. Content on sasseweb.com is owned by Sasse Web and may not be copied without permission.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you pay your deposit applies to your project. Continued use of this website after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
